Do you think that people want something new and different and are never satisfied with what they have? Well, some people might oppose this point. However, for the following three points and examples, I strongly insist that as people get more, they want something even more. Now, I will give you my three points that support my position.
To begin with, many people think that they want to walk when they are running. They then want to sit if they are walking. Next, if they are sitting, they want to lay down. Then, they want to fall asleep. This shows us how people are never satisfied with what they have. Once they have accomplished something, they want to get something more and more. This is the first point of my view.
As to the second point, people especially students want lots of clothes even after they bought clothes. My friends in grade nine really like wearing many different kinds of clothes. They said that made their parents angry but they were never satisfied with their clothes. In this situation, it is clearly showing that people are never satisfied with what they have.
The very last point is related to money. As you all know, people love money because they know that they wouldn’t be able to do anything without money. Nevertheless, people always want more money as they earn more. We can’t deny this fact. Well, some won’t do but over 80% of people will probably want more money. They never get satisfied with money and this is evidently telling us that people always want something more.
All things considered, some people would strongly disagree with the point that people are never satisfied with what they have, as mentioned. Yet, for the previous three examples, we can easily say that people always want something more and never feel sufficient with what they have. Hence, I certainly agree that people are never pleased with what they have and want something more.

All students should be required to study art and music in secondary school.
In the post-modern world, many individuals believe that all students in secondary schools should be required to learn art and music. However, a lot of persons argue that those students should have their rights to choose or not to choose to study those subjects. Personally, I agree with those who recommend that all students should study art and music subjects as the requirement of the schools. Among the main reasons are that it will help students to develop their imagination, to reduce their stress, and to find part time jobs easily.
If art and music subjects are fundamental subjects in secondary schools, all students will learn to improve their imagination. Students in secondary schools have to learn many subjects such as statistics, mathematics, sciences, and those subjects make them think only about the fact and rational things. By studying music, teacher will teach them to play some music instruments. They can create their own songs. In terms of studying art, all students will have opportunities to learn how to draw both portrait and scenes. They can imagine the persons who created the theories that they have learned from science class. These subjects teach a lot in imagination.
Without studying art and music, students will find the difficulty to entertain themselves to reduce the pressure and stress. Secondary students have a lot of pressure and they are very stressful from many competitions in education. Normally most students do not know how to decrease those stressful things. Thus, if they are required to study art and music subject, teacher will teach them to sing some songs and create their own sculpture. Of course, they will be very enjoy and forget about the stresses on their heads.
Last but not least, all students who required studying music and art will easily find part time jobs. Secondary students are in the age that has to find their jobs support help their parent’s expenses. When they study these particular subjects, they will have more chance than others. Many restaurants will want persons who can sing and play music instruments to perform entertainment activities.
All in all, I agree with the idea that all students in secondary school have to study art and music as a must. There are a lot of benefits from these subjects that students cannot find from other subjects. They will have range of varieties knowledge and have more choices in their careers in the futures. I predict that all secondary schools will put these two subjects as requirement subjects of their schools. How can people deny the importance of art and science subjects?

Schools should ask students to evaluate their teachers.
It is controversial that whether schools should ask students to evaluate their teachers or not. To my opinion, students should be asked about their teachers. Those evaluations are good for the teachers, the school administrators and the students themselves.
Student evaluations are good for teachers. From those evaluations, teachers know what students like or dislike about the class. They realize which subject students think is difficult or easy. They discover activities that students enjoy as well. Therefore, teachers find out ways that reach students and avoid ways that don’t. For example, they can change the way they present a lecture or a talk. Or they can encourage students to participate in activities they like. All of these things are to improve classes to meet students’ demandS/NEEDS.

Decisions can be made quickly, or they can be made after careful thought.
If the question asked was whether or not a decision that is quickly made is always wrong, and required an absolute yes-no answer, I think the answer had to be a resounding "no". While carefully thinking out decisions can be important, there are many decisions that are best suited to impulsive, spontaneous outcomes.
Consider I am sitting home alone one morning, contemplating what to do with my day. There are a number of things I should get done during the day: I have to clean my apartment, as well as do some grocery shopping. A friend calls, and invites me to see an art exhibition that sounds very interesting. This situation does not require a carefully thought out decision. I can easily put off my small errands for later in the day, or even until the next day. The decision was made very quickly, and, in my opinion, was definitely not wrong.

Parents are the best teachers?
Parents, undoubtly can teach and bring their children up as a duty. Some people think that parents in their parenthood, can teach their children better than teachers. Others may argue that parents would not fulfill the job of teachers because of educational methods and knowledge. This essay will look at if parents can even do better than teachers when they teach their children.
On the one hand, parents would be better than teachers in educating their children for several reasons. Firstly, children may strongly believe or listen to their parents because of their nature relationship. For example, a little boy may naturally happily greet other people everytime he meets just because their parents teach him to do that. Secondly, it may be easier for parents to expect their children to obey. For instance, a father can tell his little daughter to get up earlier everyday which is not easy for teachers. Another reason is that children may find that they can only share their personal problems to their parents. The closer parents and children are, the easier parents can educate their children. As a result, parents are ideal people to educate their children.
On the other hand, teachers would do much better than parents in educating children because of many reasons. One reason is that teachers are trained for teaching, with their knowledge and teaching methods, they can help to educate children more effectively. For example, parents may easily find out a math solution for children, but they find it hard to explain. Moreover, teachers also know how to encourage children to learn more effectively, while parents probably do not. While parents often mistakenly encourage their children to do homework by a bar of chocolate, or a trip in the coming weekend. As a result, teachers may do better than parents in educating children.

A new study shows that children who spend more time watching television spend less time interacting with their family and playing creatively. Children watch television more than any other activity. Researchers from University of Texas at Austin and Harvard Children's Hospital wanted to understand whether and how this affects children's health and behavior.
Dr. Elizabeth Vandewater and her colleagues surveyed 2,900 children ages 12 and under around the United States and analyzed all of the children's activities over two 24-hour periods, one randomly chosen weekday and one weekend day. The data was gathered by the child's primary caregiver.
The researchers compared time spent watching television with time spent on homework, reading, creative play (such as arts and crafts), active play (such as soccer) and interaction with parents and siblings.
The results have shown that children who watched television more interacted with parents and siblings and played creatively less. It was also found that older children who spent more time watching television spent less time on homework. However, a somewhat surprising find was that television did not interfere with reading or with playing outdoors.
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) has recommended that children under the age of two should not watch television and children older than two should watch no more than two hours of television daily.
